Renovation and Extension of an authentic Glebe House in Union Hall, Co. Cork, Ireland. Project included aluclad lift & slide doors, tilt & turn and sliding sash windows.
Originally built in 1730, Glebe House was a guest house for visitors to the rectory. Among the many distinguished guests was the poet and novelist Jonathan Swift, best known for writing Gulliver’s Travels.
The architectural merit of the original build was respected and the addition of the sunroom along the South façade has provided for an enhancement of the sea and garden views. For maintaining the abundance of natural light there were used Archiprod large lift & slide doors.
All high performance wood and aluminium clad wood contemporary style windows and doors were manufactured to fit client’s needs perfectly and perform precisely as designed.
